Roima Intelligence and City of Vantaa start cooperation
City of Vantaa has selected Roima as the supplier of its new electronic procurement solution.

The City of Vantaa and Roima Intelligence have signed an agreement on the delivery of an electronic procurement system. Roima won the contract through a public tendering process.
The solution will be based on the Roima eProcurement product that is already used by the City of Espoo, Tuomi Logistiikka (City of Tampere and Pirkanmaa Hospital District), and SATO. Roima eProcurement is a solution delivered as a service for the digitalization of decentralized procurement processes.
The City of Vantaa will use Roima’s solution to manage orders both from supplier-maintained catalogs, which include the products offered by the city’s contract suppliers, and from the contract suppliers’ own systems (so-called punchout catalogs).
The four-year agreement is worth 548,000 euros, and the first phase implementation is planned to take place in the second half of 2020.
“The Roima eProcurement solution offers comprehensive functionality to support the demanding procurement processes of big municipalities, and our professionals have solid experience of delivering similar solutions. We are extremely happy about the trust the City of Vantaa places in us and we are very much looking forward to this cooperation”, states Tommi Nylander, Director of Logistics Business at Roima Intelligence.
