RoimaDay 2019

Technology is developing rapidly, and the world is changing ever more quickly with it. We are undergoing a change in the industry, a transition referred to as Digitalization, Digital Transformation, Smart Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or Industrial Internet of Things. There are completely new ways and tools available for maintaining and improving competitiveness.

Digital transformation is in full swing; the future will bring ever more radical changes to the industry, to the entire manufacturing value chain, its cooperation networks, sales and procurement models, and the real-time management of the logistics chain.

Taneli Tikka is known as an innovative business developer and advocate of digitalization who has served dozens of companies from startups to big corporations. For the time being, Tikka serves as the CEO of Vake Oy, an investment and development company of the Finnish state, which supports Finland’s competitiveness and the renewal of its business structures. At Vake Oy, Tikka has worked to promote the success of the Finnish technology industry. Tikka is especially interested in automation, robotics and artificial intelligence.

RoimaDay is an event that our customers have learnt to expect a lot from – interesting and inspiring program for professionals, decision-makers and business developers alike. To our great joy, we have been able to meet those expectations; the previous RoimaDay events have been a success. And this year will not be an exception!

We warmly welcome all our customers to RoimaDay 2019 on Thursday, November 7! The venue for the event will be the traditional hotel Aulanko in the Finnish city of Hämeenlinna, accommodating 400 guests (the spots will be filled in the order of registration).

Invitations for advance registration will be sent during the Midsummer week, so check your mailbox that week and register for the event already!
